Bravo Sails is the leading sail loft in South Australia, situated in the prime location at the Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron. We service all yacht clubs and marinas in the area. We focus on providing excellent customer service and continual improvement of our services.

Our purpose-built sail loft is a hive of activity, with a team of flexible and skilled workers meeting the repair deadlines of racing customers, whilst maintaining a steady production of new sails and custom-made canvas goods.

We are currently looking for an experienced Marine Canvas Fabricator/ Sailmaker to join our team. The role involves measuring, manufacturing, repairing and installing the following products:

  • Racing and cruising sails
  • Boom bags and sail covers
  • Boat covers and awnings
  • Cushions, rope bags and instrument covers

Requirements
Our ideal applicant will have at least 2 years’ experience as a sailmaker or marine canvas worker and can demonstrate the following skills:

  • Able to work in teams and unsupervised
  • Competent to set up, operate and maintain industrial sewing machines
  • Confident to consult with customers to establish design specifications
  • Capable to assemble and install heavy canvas covers and sails
